Osteo Active Hip Protector

Manufactured by Delloch Limited from New Zealand, the product comprises a combed cotton-elastane textile brief with a pair of class leading SAS Tec Hip Protector shields which are located over the hip joints.

They are designed to disperse impact energy away from the hip joints that can occur as a result of a fall. The shields are designed to protect the hip and meet British Standard EN1621-1 for falls from motorcycles. The tread pattern on the shield should be facing away from the hip.

The fabric in the briefs is a soft combed cotton that is moisture absorbent, breathable and comfortable for all year round wearing. The garment is designed with flat locked seams and this reduces irritation to the skin and mitigates pressure points. The products can be worn as regular under wear.

The garments are durable and have good wash and wear performance. High temperature air dryers are not recommended. The shields are removed from the briefs when they are laundered and can be swapped into fresh underwear.
